Darren

I am so blessed to have stumbled upon this page. My brother-in-law, SGT Michael Tremain Roberston (Doc Rob) was the soldier with 80% burns to his body. I never had a chance to tell you, his mom, or his wife, how much Darren did for us. He got his fellow soldiers to safety enabling some fellas to live and others to be able to say goodbye to their loved ones. If it wasn't for him and SFC Cashe, my sister would never have gotten the opportunity to say goodbye.

I can hardly believe it's been almost 5 years since it happened. I reflect on your son often...him, SFC Cashe, SGT Robertson, and SSGT Alexander. What I've been told is that they all were of highest quality and character.

I pray that your family is well and enjoying the many fond memories of Darren that you have. God bless you on this Memorial day and every day.

Your friend,

Melody Pittman
